STA has unveiled a new, easy-to-navigate website that offers leisure professionals a streamlined search facility and enhanced features.

The new-look site – www.sta.co.uk – has been completely redesigned and brings together all the information that swimming teaching, lifesaving, first aid and pool plant professionals need in a simple and easy-to-follow way.

It features intelligent searching tools and navigation to enable users to easily find information on courses, qualifications and all STA’s downloadable resources. There is also a dynamic new search tool that allows users to find relevant STA courses course, jobs and pools via a map or postcode area.

The updated website, which is optimised for use on all smart mobile devices, has the additional feature of an up-to-date industry/STA news page so that professionals can see at a glance at the developments that affect them, as well as a comprehensive list of the awards programmes that the organisation offers.

Theo Millward, STA’s Operations Director, said: “This overhauled website will make it much easier for leisure industry professionals to find out what courses we have on offer, as well as explore our internationally-recognised awards programmes.

“A website is a crucial window for what we do in the UK and internationally and we acknowledged that we had outgrown the old website because it was unwieldy to use, so this was the perfect opportunity to take our website to a new level.

“Our brief was simple: to have a site that busy professionals can use quickly and easily. Our technology team has worked very hard to produce one that offers a much improved user experience.

“It has been exhaustively tested for ease of use and it will form a key part of how we develop our online presence in the future.”

The new website is just one part of STA’s developing digital strategy and has been launched alongside the new Online Registration System, which can be found at online.sta.co.uk.
